We stopped in for a light lunch recently. It was the first time trying the food for everyone in my group. Me and one other had the salad bar, one friend had a hotdogs and the other had a burger. Everyone was satisfied with the food. For it being busy and the wait staff being short staffed the food came out in a timely fashion. The waitress did a great job handling everyone.
The food was good. We definitely have a small town diner, look and feel. They lady that waited on me was very friendly.
Great place to stop and eat at while traveling, love the nostalgic wall art. The food was amazing, down to the very last bite and was filling if it wasn't Soo far away I would be there on a regular having lunch or dinner as there were other meals I wanted to try! Thank you!
My kids and I were passing through Lee around lunch time and we came across the Red Onion Grill. Sweet little place off I-10 connected to a gas station. The restaurant has a diner motif and was older but very clean. The staff was very friendly as well. The food was surprisingly very good. I ate the grilled chicken bacon melt and it was delicious. I definitely recommend this place for a quick bite to eat if you are passing through Lee, Florida.
This is a trucker type restaurant but I would encourage anyone wanting a good meal that isn't crazy expensive to try this restaurant. It's an older place and nothing fancy but the food was great. The sweet tea was excellent and they kept my glass full. Ordering was quick and the food came quickly and was hot. Every staff person was working hard and very nice. Lots of different items on the menu and a nice salad bar. I'm looking forward to going back the next time I'm in the area.

I had the 3 piece fish, fries, and corn nuggets. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff is very polite and friendly. Good laughs and good conversation. This will definitely be added to my list of places to go again.
I actually stopped at the loves across the street to fuel up my truck, and a few other operators were talking about how good the food was here. I figured i had a few dollas to spend today, why not. I was highly satisfied with the popcorn shrimp and okra! Even the red velvet cake was slappin! Cant wait to stop back by here.
